Faculty of Health & Design Representative

Ly Muy

Hi, I am Ly MUY, who is studying in Bachelor of Business Information with a major in Business Analysis based on Hawthorn campus. I am really passionate about developing skills relate to my Swinburne University community during my studying. Therefore, I have no hesitation to boost my self-confidence to step up for this opportunity.

I believe that by being involved with Swinburne Student Union, I would be able to enhance both my personal and professional goals in some ways. In terms of personal goal, I have always desired to challenge myself to learning new things, particularly as a critical thinker and also an effective communicator. Moreover, I also would like to make a contribution and share to my peers along with my professional social public communication and active voluntary works experiences. Therefore, I believe that I will be able to acquire this potential role for self-development and new experiences.

Please remember, a decision is a journey. Hence, value your vote; careful observation is a must. Your vote is my support, thanks!

Keshini Munaweera

I believe that I would be a fitting candidate for this role. I’m from Sri Lanka and I have only been in Australia for a couple of months. During this time I have attended events organized by the university and I have made so many friends from different backgrounds and cultures.

I’m caring, I have friendly personality, outgoing and will talk to almost anybody. Love making new friends, love hanging out, enjoying and partying.

I was a member of the student’s council at Wisdom business academy in Sri Lanka and we organized many CRS events dinner dances etc. I love being part of something bigger and being part of a team, trying to make a difference. It a good challenge and a rewarding one at the end of the day.

Faculty of Business & Law Representative

David Brodtmann

Thank you for taking the time to view my candidacy statement. My name is David Brodtmann and I am a mature age Psychology student studying a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology).   I have a passion for helping people and know as your FHAD representative on the SSU Education Board your voice will be heard. Studying at University can be a wonderful experience but sometimes events do not always go to plan. Having representation that you can access and trust and can be a source of comfort. I need to establish this trust and I will work diligently to make our university experience enjoyable. As a Hawthorn campus student I am accessible to discuss your concerns at short notice. I am currently involved as a committee member of the Swinburne University Psychology Association (SUPA). This is your chance to elect a proactive representative.   Thank you again for reading my candidate statement and look forward to meeting you around campus. Please take the precious few minutes to cast your vote that I graciously ask for in the forthcoming election.
