Christopher Pyne has tabled a bill in Parliament to cut 900 million dollars from higher education and another bill to cut Centrelink start-up scholarships, a vital lifeline for tens of thousands of students who already live below the poverty line. There will be demonstrations in every major city on Wednesday March 26th as part of a National Day of Action organised by the National Union of Students.
