SSU is opening a FoodBank
Swinburne Student Union invites all students in need of food support to visit our new FoodBank service on Level 4 of the UN Building. With food and toiletry staples, SSU FoodBank is a free, walk in service that is available to all Swinburne students during office hours.
Just head to the SSU Reception Desk (UN Building, Level 4), let us know you’re here for FoodBank, and we’ll point you in the right direction. We recommend bringing your own shopping bag for ease of transport, and we do ask that you check in with our QR Code on arrival.
SSU FoodBank is currently open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and we invite all students who may need a helping hand with groceries at the moment to stop by and make use of this new service!
Free Feeds Returns
We undertand that due to recent COVID-19 outbreaks and Government restrictions in place, financial and food insecurity is a major problem facing students in particular. As such we have brought back our Free Feeds program, which provides grocery packs to student in need. In order to register for a grocery pack please complete the eventbrite registration on our Free Feeds page
