Swinburne Student Union, in partnership with the Community Bank Swinburne Advisory Board, is looking to employ a current Swinburne student for the role of Administrative Support Officer.
This position will support the Community Bank Swinburne Advisory Board through attendance at monthly meetings, preparation and distribution of agenda and other documents, recording of minutes and actions, and providing other administrative support as required.

Please note: all applicants must provide a written response to each of the Knowledge / Skills and Experience / Qualification selection criteria, as well as providing a copy of their current resume.

Swinburne Student Union Legal Services (SSU Legal) provides free and confidential legal advice, information, referral and education for all current enrolled student of Swinburne University with a focus on Student Visas and Migration Law.
All legal advice is provided by qualified lawyers, through partnership between Swinburne Student Union and Eastern Community Legal Centre.
Currently Swinburne cannot provide formal advice on issues around Student Visas and Migration Law, which is where SSU Legal steps in.
While the focus is on Migration Law, SSU Legal can also advise students on legal matters such as:

Just because we aren’t on campus this year, doesn’t mean COVID will stop our annual Pride Walk (#stuffyouCOVID #youwontstiflemypermissiontoshine). This year don your most fabulous outfit, bedazzle your masks and strut your stuff within your 5km limit and take part in our Virtual Pride Walk.
Post a photo of your outfit or mask while on your walk to Insta, with the hashtags #SwinburnePride #PrideComp, for your chance to win a $30 gift card #yassqueen. Gifts cards will be awarded to the best outfit and the best masks, so double your chances by entering twice!!
Your submissions will be judged on three Themes:
Creativeness – how fancy and crazy
Relation to pride – how many colours can you fit on one mask
Connection to queer history – pay homage to the queer elders that paved the way
